Ashish Malviya

Managing Director of Technology Strategy & Product Engineering, Aberdeen Advisors; Guest Faculty, UW Information School

Ashish Malviya brings more than 15 years of global experience leading enterprise technology transformation, cybersecurity, and initiatives in mergers and acquisitions across healthcare, retail and supply chain organizations. Malviya has advised Fortune 100 companies and private equity-backed firms on digital strategy, enterprise risk, and large-scale system implementations, including global ERP and data platforms across more than 60 countries. His work has delivered measurable business impact through improved operational efficiency, cost optimization and enhanced customer experience.

Malviya began his career in cybersecurity research at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and has authored peer-reviewed publications in IEEE. At UW, he teaches and mentors graduate students, helping bridge academic concepts with real-world technology leadership and decision-making. He holds a master’s degree in information management from the University of Washington.
